Rob A. Rutenbar Gives Invited Talk at University of Wisconsin-Madison Computer Science Department

Rob A. Rutenbar gave an invited Zoom talk as part of the University of Wisconsin CS “Virtual Computer Architecture” Seminar series, on his recent work in AI-in-Silicon.

The talk was titled: “Experiments with Bayesian Inference Accelerators (Why AI Algorithms that are NOT Deep Neural Nets Also Want to be Silicon).” Rob focused on the fact, that while most recent efforts have focused on deep neural net architectures, there are other AI algorithms that also benefit from being mapped into silicon.
