Rutenbar Leads Panel on US CHIPS Act Impacts at 2023 Design Automation Conference

Rob A. Rutenbar gives introduction to CHIPS & Science & EDA panel discussion at the 2023 Design Automation Conference in San Francisco.

Rutenbar led a panel discussion at the 2023 ACM/IEEE DAC in San Francisco on the topic “CHIPS & Science & EDA: A New (and Amplified) Future?” The panel surveyed the broad landscape of the semiconductor community, looking at potential impacts of the 2022 US CHIPS Act’s promised new investments and research focus. The participants included experts from U.S. research funding agencies, global semiconductor fabs, and the venture capital community.
